Tokyo Living Expense
$3,500 Monthly by August 1
In 2025 Jack, Meg and the kids made several trips to Tokyo for ministry and outreach activities and to explore future educational opportunities for the kids.
Through these outreach efforts with partnering missionaries Suro and Ayaka Lopez, we recognized the need for discipleship and deeper relational community thus forming a missional community in Tokyo. We also have some other ministry opportunities with another missionary organization currently being discussed.
Chloe was accepted to Christian Academy in Japan starting August 19th. Megumi and Chloe will make the move in August while Jack and Ethan stay in Kagoshima until Ethan finishes 6th grade in March 2028.
To cover the cost of living in Tokyo to include school fees we need to raise $3,500 in monthly support.

Tokyo Mission House

We have our sights on this house (above pic) to be our Tokyo Mission House. 15 minutes walking distance from Chloe’s new school, 10 minutes from the train station for easy access for people to come and 30 minutes from one of our new ministry functions (not official yet, but will be soon).
Not only will this be house our family for the next 8 years but it will also host our gatherings for our Tokyo Missional Community and welcome guests who come to stay with us.
To cover moving expense, secure house (deposits/insurances), purchase appliances and furnishings, we need to raise $10,000 by July 1st.

On April 11 while driving Ethan to a soccer game, our 22 year old van we bought when we moved to Japan 8 years ago blew a head gasket. The cost of repairs along with upcoming vehicle inspection and taxes was not worth considering. We were hoping for 2 more years. It was such a great vehicle and it served our family and mission well. We will miss it.
We have been without a car for 2 weeks and we are managing well with the help of community offering their vehicle if needed.
With all our focus on preparing for Tokyo, we ask for your prayers in finding a suitable vehicle in the near future.
