We are turning houses into safe places; for gathering friends, sharing meals, doing life together, growing strong relationships, discovering God’s purpose making a lasting impact in the nation of Japan.

Missional Community Kagoshima

Eight years ago we landed in Kagoshima knowing exactly what we needed to do according to the vision God gave us and that was to create a space where people felt safe, loved and needed in a country where loneliness and isolation has a foothold on society.

Alongside our weekly gathering that has formed over the years at our Mission House, God has used us in various ways:

  1. We have hosted many visitors from around the world.

  2. We have launched various ministries and reachout activities in our local community where Jesus is made known in tangible ways.

  3. We have assisted in onboarding a handful of missionaries currently serving in Japan.

  4. We have formed working relationships with other church pastors throughout Kagoshima for the purpose of unity among the Body to prepare for what God is planning for the people of Japan.

Missional Community Tokyo

Five years ago we explored a pathway to multiply our efforts through connections in Tokyo not realizing we would actually be physically present in the city known as the “Gateway to the East”.

August 2026, we opened our second Mission House to welcome our friends into life-on-life relationships. Here are the initial steps we are taking in growing roots in the this suburb of Tokyo.

  1. We are partnering with another missionary couple with the same heart for the Japanese and keen on relationship building with the desire to live out the gospel in Japan.

  2. We have partnered with Send International providing management and hospitality to missionaries and church workers staying at the Send Japan Guesthouse.

  3. Our children, Chloe (this year) and Ethan (next year), are being “equipped and inspired to serve Japan and the World for Christ” through Christian Academy in Japan.

  4. Our Tokyo Mission House will provide a safe place to connect and grow in relationship with others in our local community and around Tokyo.
