10.25 Update
Casa Lopez Music (CLM) from Tokyo on their very first Mission Trip!
CLM Outdoor Summer Concert
The top highlight over the last few months was hosting CLM in the middle of an unpredictable typhoon that developed right off our coast canceling the planned outdoor jazz and gospel concert where over 100 people were invited to attend. We switch gears and used our living room as a stage video recorded an indoor concert. It was amazing! We also renewed wedding vows for Suro and Ayaka celebrating 10 years of marriage and held a private wedding ceremony for a couple in the band that married through the city office. We squeezed in some sight seeing as well. It was everyone’s first time to Kagoshima and we proudly showed them a good time and enjoyed local food in the short time we had available.
Check out the 2 minute recap video below.

Outdoor Concert turned into a Home Session due to a typhoon that formed right off the coast.
Through this time of connecting, relationship building and fun we see how God can use our partnership to multiply our efforts in making Jesus known as well as discipling others. We anticipate what God is going to do in the near future and beyond.
Summer Camp
One of our mainstays for ministry in the summer is our Summer Camp where we invite our kids in our community to hear about God, his creation and love of Jesus in language they understand and easily put in to practice during our 4-day camp like playing games at one of our local elderly day care centers. Sports & Music
Many weekends over the summer were filled with Ethan’s soccer tournaments and some music performances by Chloe’s School Band. Ethan has been playing Goal Keeper and field. Chloe plays the saxophone. With the beach only being 40 minutes away thankfully we managed to get there one day over the summer. One of the ways we relax is spending hours digging for various clams and then take them home to eat sauteed with butter. So delicious!
Osaka Family Trip
Celebrating Meg’s Dad this year turning 77 years old, Meg’s mother wanted to travel to Osaka for a family trip where we relaxed at a beach town 2 hours south of Osaka, visited with family and went to Universal Studios Japan for the first time! What a blessing it was to be together with family and for out kids to experience USJ.
